Alwin Holland has safety procedures in place so that staff and students know what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency. Fire drills have been practiced for many years. Lockdown drills are relatively new and can cause some anxiety for students. When you speak with your child about the importance of practicing safety drills, please do what you can to reduce their anxiety.
There will be a lockdown drill at Alwin Holland next week. Teachers are reminding students what to do in a lockdown situation so that they are well prepared.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact Ms. Orcutt or Mrs. Hartman at the school.
Below is a copy of the letter that was sent home Thursday.

Don’t forget to come and shop at our Bazaar this Sunday from 10-4pm. There will be lots of great items to purchase! Any parents or students that are able to contribute to the PAC bake table would be greatly appreciated and will help to support our school.
